Nine more weeks. We had a regular OB appointment today. Well, it was "regular" until Wallis's heart rate registered well over 160. The doctor sent us over to another room for monitoring on the fetal monitor and TOCO (contraction monitor). She wasn't too worried and I wasn't either. The baby was being very active. When she gets going this baby can really bounce around. On the monitor, the baby's heart rate made it up to 200! As soon as she would settle down and take a rest it was back down to 140-150. Then she would get going again and try to hit 200 again. After a good 30-45 minutes she was cleared of any concern. The doctor did mention that she was a very active baby and told me "good luck after she's born!" Oye. At our 13 week scan the tech commented on how active the baby was and it has been like that most of the time since. (Except of course, when my first OB told me the baby was dead because she wasn't moving. Maybe Wallis learned that you must always stay alert during sonograms or else!)
Not much else going on. Next Friday will be 32 weeks and I have another scan with the MFM. I am also meeting with a doula to see whether we might be able to use her in our attempt to have a vbac. Everything has been going smoothly. Fingers crossed as we get close in on the last two months.
See, Wallis already has a sense of humor. :)
